Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 small bunch Spinach washed , chopped


  • 1/2 cup golden American sweet corn boiled and coarsely crushed


  • 1 tablespoon Crushed Garlic


  • 1 medium Onion chopped


  • 4 tablespoons Besan


  • 4 Green Chillies chopped


  • 1 cup finely chopped Fresh Methi leaves


  • 1/2 cup Carrot grated


  • 1 teaspoon chat masala


  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala


  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves chopped


  • 1 pinch Meetha soda


  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (optional)


  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste


  • 1 cup Oil – To deep fry

Directions

  • Take onion, chillies, spinach and add salt, methi, garlic, chaat masala, garam masala, soda, besan, ginger paste and mint leaves in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Meanwhile in a wok heat oil for deep frying.
  • Now add boiled corn and mix again to form a smooth batter slightly thicker than pakoda consistency.
  • Make small balls of pakoda mixture and drop carefully in hot oil 6-7 at a time.
  • Deep fry on a medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  • Delicious and crispy spinach corn Balls are ready.
  • Serve hot with masala tea, green chutney or sauce or any dip.
